As we had an early flight, we thought we would stay close to the airport. We booked before we arrived, but the check-in process was cold & dismissive. I requested a high floor with a view of the airport. We were allocated a room on the roundabout entry to the airport precinct on the 1st floor. We entered the room which had a heavy smell of cigarette smoke from the previous occupiers. The doona on the bed was thin with all the padding pushed down to the feet. The hotel was isolated & there was no ability to shop for some basics, Our experience was less than satisfactory. We requested a shuttle drop-off but were told the shuttle bus outside was not operating.

I stay regularly on business. Last week I had a number of travel disruptions and ended up cancelling and re-booking within a couple of hours. Hotel reception very flexible and accommodating which made the disruption much easier to deal with - very good.

The hotel is OK but I am an Accor member and it seems none of my stays are accounted for and I need to manually do it. I have provided my membership number and it never gets accounted. Also invoices are not provided on a normal basis
